Once upon a time...
Ella thought she was a normal girl. Then, when she turned 14, her dad decided to let her in on the family secret. They are descended from the Brothers Grimm, the famous story tellers, only they weren't story tellers; they were historians. And fairy tales are real. They move to the secret town of Hanau in LA, where most of the worlds ever-afters lives. As a part of their peace keeping, her father is a fairy tale criminal investigator, a detective, and he teaches her the tricks of the trade. Her first case is that of a teenage boy accused of murdering Red Riding Hoods grandmother. it seems simple at first. Find the evidence to prove he did or he didn't. But in the midst of investigating she stumbles onto something; something which threatens the very existence of humans. Malice. An underground organisation devoted to the extermination of humans. As she and her new found friends Lucas and Toby ( the worlds most annoying faerie) delve deeper they find themselves in more and more trouble. And just as it seems it cant get more confusing, they make a discovery which shakes the town to its core.
A/N Sorry that was long winded and probably sucked but you get the jist. Any way this will be a series though i haven't planned much beyond this book. Suggestions are appreciated!

In New York City, Simon is having an affair with a girl whom he have known as twin flame. One night, yakuza gets his girlfriend and they bring her to Japan. Simon is happening to be a Police under Crime Investigation Division, handles the case, practices how to combat with a sword while searching to where at Japan they possibly go and what is the reason behind of kidnapping his girlfriend. While on the road in Japan, while asking about the location he suspected, leads him going to the mountains near Mt. Fuji. Accidentally, he arrived at an empty building at the mountains, when a group of ninja fights him with a sword. Fortunately, he have his back the sword and fights back at them, until he defeated them. Suddenly, from the dark area of the building, there is a shadow with a sword showed up, then he saw a girl wearing japanese tradition outfit holding a samurai. She fights him with her prowess with her samurai, until she beats him, left collapsed. Simon wakes up, when surprisingly, he is at the mountains full of trees and with wood houses at the center. He was tied up at a tree, when samurai girl with group of ninja showed to him. She asked what is his purpose of coming in. At first, she is not willing to help as it will cause harm in her community, but later was convinced without apparent reason, to help him. She come up with a decision after she made a meditation for several days, calling her to help that man. They both went around the mountains, while along the road he finds her doing a meditation every day. One day, he accidentally touched her hand, but she gets mad, and said never to touch her again. He finds it weird with a petty reason she gets crazily mad. She also lost interest in riding horses, too until she meets the three most snobby, rich kids named Madison, Bonnie, and Lucy, who think they are better than everyone when it comes to riding horses, but Rose sure doesn't think she is. Rose thinks she can beat them, so Rose challenges her and tells her that she can beat her, so they make a deal, but the one think Rose didn't think of was that she stopped ridding because of her mom's accident and that means she has to get back on a horse. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
