Story based on the song "We Love Like Vampires" by Sparks The Rescue. Young Jared has always wanted to have fun; he doesn't allow anyone to tie him down. Though, when a long lost high school friend shows up everything changes. Suddenly roles have been reversed. Jared is breaking his own rules, and questions began eating him alive. I ended up writing this story for a contest I entered. Wish me Luck! (:

It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. Without warning, his mouth is on mine. He kisses me roughly. His hands are on the back of my neck, holding me in place. For a moment, I was frozen, unsure of whether I wanted to push him away or kiss him back. Since I was not in control of my body around him, I kissed him back hard. I hear him groan into the kiss and a shudder travels through my body. The kiss was passionate and possessive, it felt like he wanted to own my body and soul. For as long as I can remember, the world that we live in now is ruled by vampires. Humans were looked down upon and treated like nothing but trash.
