"Why did you kidnap me?" Her voice was steady, her expression betraying only a flicker of impatience.

He didn't answer her question. Instead, he simply said, "Get ready."

Maya's brow furrowed. "For what? And I'm already ready." She glanced at her own clothes in confusion.

His next words were chilling, delivered with a commanding coldness. "Not as my sister's friend. As my sister's sister-in-law. You're going to marry me."

The shock of his statement hit her like a slap, and her eyes fell to the heavy wedding gown he tossed onto the bed beside her. She scoffed, anger simmering beneath the surface. "Mr. Agnivashi, do I look like a fool? Why would I marry you? Today is your wedding day with the woman you love."

Her words were mocking, defiant, and it sparked something dark in his gaze. He took a step closer, and his voice hardened. "I like questions, Sweetheart, but not when I give an order. And this," he said, jaw clenched, "is an order, soon-to-be Mrs. Agnivashi." Without warning, he grabbed a glass jug from the nearby table and hurled it at the mirror, watching with satisfaction as it shattered, shards scattering across the floor.

Maya didn't flinch. Her gaze stayed on him, unwavering. "And why should I follow you?" Her voice was calm, laced with a confidence that matched his own.

He leaned in, his dark gaze meeting hers, his voice reverberating in the room. "I know you won't say yes easily. So, let's make a deal."
