She smiles at the scene of the ducks in the pond, forming a line around the deep green water, as she feeds them.

She smiles as she walks to school.

She smiles while she hums her favorite song.

She smiles behind her father as he leads our town.

She is always smiling.

"Charlie." She sweetly murmurs my name. I turn away from the pond as I focus on her. I am captivated by her inviting gaze.

"Y-n."

"What are you thinking about?..." slowly, she plays with her cross necklace around her neck.

If I really told you what I was thinking about you'd stop smiling.

"How nice today's weather has been."

So I lie.

But deep down. I'm thinking about all of the ways I can make you mine and mine alone.
