Aldrich Short Stories

Aldrich is a fictional world of mine. It's a kingdom where an evil dictatorship / monarchy rules the country. The king being named Aldrich, of course. Within the capital city, a group of locals formed a resistance hidden from the king, and plan to take down the king. Aldrich is a kingdom filled with three primary races, humans, spirits (dark and light), as well as demons. Demons are usually lower class citizens or are in-prisoned and put to slave work. Humans come in all sorts of classes in Aldrich. For spirits, the light spirits are contracts made with humans who have already perished, as for dark spirits they are sinners who have perished that haunt the lands on Aldrich. Magic is rare, but 20% of the population use it. Magic is obtained through these artefacts, which the god of this world is said to have blessed long ago and distributed it among humans. Only select few have powers, and sometimes, it ends up in the wrong hands. Spirits and Demons have their own perks just with their race alone, but can also use these artefacts too, and their strength becomes even stronger with them.
