Ugh, Monday. I hate Mondays, especially the ones after a three-day vacay. I'm still eating my omlet when the first call comes in. It's Albaj. She's panicing over the phone, talking really fast. All I make out before I decide my morning is over, is " I've spotted those Monarch Vigilante's."

A hero and a villain from opposite sides of the fight. One, a hero fighting for a corrupt government, knowing only that his parents were murdered at the hands of the monarchs. A villain, fighting against a corrupt government, knowing that her parent died for the future of her family. Having accepted her written future of hardship and sacrifice. On what ends will they meet? Will there encounter lead to ruin, or will they finally bring the world around? Most importantly, will their fractured hearts, families, and beliefs begin to look less fractured.
