I've given up; that has been my mindset for decades. I did an spectacular job at destroying my life, so why hope or believe is some prophesy? That didn't mean I wouldn't help him, it was just an act of empathy, nothing else... Why... Aslan, meeting him was no coincidence was it? Maybe he never actually forgot about me to begin with.

The year was 1940. with young men going into war, and women starting jobs, the children who lived in the cities, more specifically London were sent to live out in the country. when the Pevensie children arrive at the estate, they meet the 18-year-old maid, Anna. or Anna-Maria. a girl with a shadowed past, but a heart of gold. She has lived with the professor for 8 years and worked as a maid there for 4. The siblings take to her immediately, glad to have someone to hold onto in this time of difficulty. None of them could have predicted what a simple game of hiding and seek would lead to. What destiny was laid out before them. Least of all the girl whom lived twice. The Forgotten (Peter Pevensie x OC)
OC X Peter Pevensie Evelyn has always been different. Always out of place, never accepted. Always the one that got the blame. It didn't seem to matter that she had a heart of gold. No-one cared when it got broken. She was the bad guy, and she had no idea why. She was almost completely alone. People don't want to be friends with a girl immune to cold, and terrified of heat. They don't want to be friends with a girl who wakes up sweating every morning due to nightmares. When the Pevensies come to stay, she resigns herself to the fact that it won't be any different, that she will be alone. Will she be right? Or can a certain Pevensie somehow manage to heal the hidden wounds in her golden heart? I have finished this book and am currently editing it, so if the chapter has *edited* at the top, then it was the last chapter I edited. A lot of these parts are authors notes. If you don't like reading crazy long books, don't worry. This is, as of June 13, 2021, 27 parts, not 50. I am the author of this book, though my username is different. Hope was a fickle thing to a human but it could be a very powerful motivation and with Narnia in tatters and chaos spreading upon the once beautiful land, it's up to the Pevensies to restore back that fallen hope. *** Leandre watched the remaining Narnians, some old to fight but contributed in sharpening tools and going out for food while the young fight and loose their lives everyday.
