Deep down, hot chocolate-loving Luette Lysander has always felt an unspoken air of distance between her Wizarding born-and-grown schoolmates, and her - a half-blood that had been reluctantly uprooted from the familiar soil of the Muggle world and replanted in foreign grounds.
At this point of time, a Wizarding War is also brewing like the gillyweeds at the bottom of her Potions cauldron.
But she gradually begins to find solace in the little things: the smell of parchment, the scent of petrichor, the sunshine on her toes, and the less-visited corridors of Hogwarts.
