I was in love in another life,

in my past life,

but somehow,

it was the future?

I met him when we were kids. His classroom above mine, and while I was admiring the view of the city sprawled outside, and watching the older kids gliding on their hovercraft, I glanced above me, and saw him. A boy peering down on me from the glass above. He smiled and waved at me excitedly, and then I had this feeling in my chest, in my heart when I saw him. As a kid I didn't know what that feeling was, but now? It's a feeling I know all too well.

But thats all I can remember, fragments of a past life,

but in the future?

I remember being happy, and that I was on top of the world, and that I could do anything with him,

but I also remember grieving his death.

I sat on the sand, the ocean stretching endlessly in front of me, while the moonlight bathed everything in cold silver silence. Each wave that crashed felt like a piece of me goes missing, and all that remained was the hollow ache of his absence

And yet, it all happened in the future. With only fragments of my memory, leaving a void inside me, like something is missing. It's as if I belong to that time, not here, not now, in the past or the present.
