He pervades the diary with records of the heart-warming, hilarious, insane, rarely witty (and mostly drunk) people he meets and has had conversations with in the corner outside of Oavad pub.

Other people might just be being nosy, but that's rude. When Niall found the tattered purple diary in the park, he was originally searching for an address. He was intrigued, however, by the girl's writing, and he kept reading until he finished it (not meaning to be nosy, of course, just curious, although that would be considered as nosy).
