Edmond Conway is the captain of Emmalien's Constellation. A ship that has seen better days but is fast on the water. A last-minute job brings him back to the sea, away from his pregnant wife. He means to return to them both in a month or so, but a horrible storm changes that plan. Lost and running out of food, they try to navigate their way back on course. But the ocean has other plans. Rather, the creatures of the deep have other plans.
