Adeline Chrome is more than just a regular thirteen-year-old girl.

She's caught stealing and is banished to prison for life, under the guidance of the terrible Muresville Police. And to take it further, when a strange organization is determined to bring back the horrible events of the past,  Adeline is the sacrifice. To bring back the thrill of the ancient Greek Gladiator Events. 

Adeline soon discovers she's got more secrets than she can live with. The strange disappearance of her mother, the death of her father, and their actual identity..... as the cherry on top, she's got a curse. Such a shame gifts aren't always good.  And now Adeline's split between two sides.....

In a thrilling journey, Adeline has more excitement than she can ever imagine. She'll always accept a challenge, even if it means certain death...
