LAW 62442: THE MARRIAGE LAW.
Every eligible witch or wizard between the ages of 17 and 35 will be paired with a spouse of the MOM's choosing. Withing 2 months of their meeting they must be engaged, and within a further 2 years of that must be married and have at least 1 child on the way. Failure to comply will result in 6 months in Azkaban prison and involved parties having their wands snapped.
