6th grade is hard for Aislynn Lee Thompson.  She has issues with her "friends," she starts dating people, and does everything she can to try and fit in.  Her only encouragement comes from her boyfriend Xavier Carter.  He makes Aislynn feel like she fits in when she's with him and he's the closest thing to her in this point in her life when everything begins to change for her rapidly.  Dance tryouts start and she doesn't know what to feel, or how to act over them.  Xavier believes in her and knows that she'll do great.
