When a young girl named Akemi Li, also known as Kimi by her friends, is discovered in the forest just outside the Hidden Leaf village by Fifth Hokage Lady Tsunade, she must learn to grow up fast and become one of the best ninja to ever exist in Konoha. When Tsunade-san receives an anonymous letter declaring to take her adopted daughter back to her birth village, the village of Hanalei of the Island of Kauai, she warns Kimi and Team Kakashi immediately. Team Kakashi is then instructed to combine with Team Guy to form the ultimate team to infiltrate Hanalei and defeat the empress, Tomoko Nozomi. Throughout her journey, Kimi must face hardships, discover romance and true feelings, and forge friendships with members of Team Guy.
