"I'm a lover not a fighter, but I'll fight for what I love." Is something that Jack Jeffries has always said and had the courage to act upon but never the need to, because no one had ever thretened something that he had loved. This is due to the fact that he has never loved anything. All that changed however when he finnaly takes notice of Sarah Truesdale who is used by everyone at the school as a target for abuse, both physical and mental. One day after a particularly brutal bout of both physical and mental abuse Jack saw something that wrenched at his heart. After the abusers had left Sara slowly sat up, and as if it were planned by some Deity, the wind blew Sara's platinum blond hair out of her face reveling her baby blue eyes which were full of tears. It was then that Jack decided to put a stop to those tears. It was then that Jack found someone that he loved.
