The Federation and Empire struggle for dominance, frequently clashing over access to valuable regions and ancient relics linked to the now-dormant V'Shar Collective. The relics left by this enigmatic, AI-driven civilization are said to hold secrets capable of shifting the galaxy's balance of power.
