Writing Prompt #233:

You've arrived too late. Your town burns, and the invaders quickly capture you.
You, known summoning priest, start chanting one of the forbidden prayers.
"No point in summoning pacifist angels now," the laughed, "there's nothing left for them to defend!"
They, however, forgot to consider that Lucifer is also an angel.
