Ever since the murder of young Nevaeh's mother, the fantastical world of Amarantos has never been the same. Nevaeh follows as planned, but soon comes to discover a secret that has been hidden from her her entire life. Will Nevaeh be able to sacrifice all she has left? She's forbidden from sharing her past, but her experience has led her to both fear and despise the New Society. After two years in the institution, she's auctioned off to a young billionaire. Noah Ivanov is withdrawn and mysterious, hiding a secret of his own. As things heat up between them, a shaky truth comes to light that forces them together. A person from their separate yet intertwined pasts comes seems to haunt their every move, and they must secretly fight against the New Society, in order to discover their government's true plans.
