Lyric is abused by her alcoholic father, who repeatedly calls her "fat" and "ugly", so she doesn't think very highly of herself, she self harms because of it. 
 One day the hot music teacher Mr. Horror sees her cuts and many bruises.
He takes her in and they fall in love.

A/N 
um, so I have decided that Ricky being a teacher and Lyric being a student will only be one part of the story, and then the real love story shall begin after she graduates and his band takes off.
