Tengzhou is a village in Mid-Eastern China, they found a broken altar of a god's statue. They build a church over this altar, keeping it safe within its walls and using the altar to pray and wish to the god for answers. Angels are seen commonly around the village and neighboring villages protecting the mortals, so it's not a surprise to be neighbors with a family of angels or to be approached by one. However, the higher-ranking Angels are only seen by the mediums/psychics of the villages and work with them to aid the village.
A new church was built over the broken altar of a god's statue. Workers of the church begin to decipher what god or goddess owns the statue so they may respect it properly. After some time, the name was indecipherable, and thus they began to pray and address the god anonymously. Until a psychic priest is hired one day and is approached by a Seraphim Angel, the highest-ranking angel who's closest to the gods/goddesses they work for. The angel begins to explain that the god they're trying to contact is far too busy, but the angel is willing to help the priest with anything. The angel claims he can speak personally with the god to help guide them in the right direction which makes the priest agree to work with him.
However, with the angel's help, things begin to take a twisting turn and the village begins to grow uncertain of the new priest's capabilities to lead them in the holy path. This leads to the priest doubting himself and praying to the god to answer him personally, unaware that this is rightfully in the god's plan.
