( A/N: Okay, so, I've been wanting to write something like this for a while, but I never really had the motivation to actually write it. I can't promise regularly scheduled updates, but I will do my best. I've also inserted an OC of mine into this story. His name is Dylan. Be nice to him, he's just a sad wet cat of a character.) Dylan was so done with the gods. He'd done everything they'd asked, gone behind the backs of the few friends he had, set several prophecies in motion, and - possibly worst of all - had lied directly to their faces about it. And yet here he was, doing Apollo's dirty work again. Gods, he hated his dad (The only character I own is Dylan, all the others belong to Rick Riordan and the DCU.)

After high school, eighteen-year-old Patrick took up residence in the apartment above his parent's book store; the same bookstore he worked at. Angsty and tired of Chicago, he only agreed to work at the dull place to gather enough money to attend an out-of-state university. He craved excitement and something to save him from the bland life he lived. When strange killings occur around the city Patrick comes face to face with a vampire but this wasn't exactly the kind of excitement he had wished for. Note: Some parts of this story, such as the characters, are based on the 'A Little Less Sixteen Candles' video, but I put my own spin on the whole concept of the vampires and other certain details because I wanted to. The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. No idea if I'm going to write another story with the same sort of people or not, so I will get back to you later about that. Anyways, have fun and good luck.
