Old Flame & an Icy Rivalry

Roman and Grayson, childhood best friends turned college hockey rivals. Gray might be cold with good reason, but will his icy resolve prevent him from moving forward? He built it to protect himself from being fooled again but Roman tended to melt him in the best ways. Can an Old Flame be enough to melt an Icy Rivalry? Or will their teammates rather watch the other go up in flames before playing nice?

"He groaned under my weight. I shifted, straddling him to catch my breath. My chest heaved, the hoodie and jersey combo restricting my lung's ability to expand.
I looked down to find Grayson watching me. His eyes were glazed over, and his hands were laying just above my knees. His fresh forearm tattoos flexing and contrasting against his otherwise pale skin. My face turned warm until a flame lit my cheeks on fire. My jeans had suddenly become warm and too tight around my thighs as we sat there frozen.
Gray made the first move, sitting up until our faces nearly brushed. He waited silently, eyes flicking down between our bodies and back up."
