Heterochromia Soulmate AU; Everyone’s right eye is their own color, and their left eye is the color of their soulmate. Phil has grown up eating up the soulmate driven romantic comedies and his parents own doe eyed love, and had been determined to make eye contact with every brown-eyed person he met until he found who his heart was supposed to belong to. Flash forward to twenty two, and despite making awkward eye contact with every person with a right brown eye- even those without a blue one to match- he still hasn’t found who he’s looking for, and he’s just about to give up when he starts getting comments and Twitter replies from a kid named Dan.

Dan Howell, despite the stark blue color of his left eye, doesn’t really believe in soulmates. What he does believe in, though, is that Phil Lester is probably the cutest person known to man. Maybe he’s a bit of an annoying fangirl about it. Maybe his belligerence gets Phil to reply, eventually.

Maybe they both fall in love.
