"Deniah! Deniah! Deniah!" The voice calls my name and wakes me from my daydream. Oh, how I miss Mama, Taniqua, and Wanda! Even though Wanda could be such a pest, she was still a sweet little sister. I wonder how old she must be now. But, I must not allow myself to wander. I know already that I am in trouble with Master Wight. I don't really understand why his name is Wight. Does that mean that my name is Black? Or Negro?
Travel back in time to when the slavery trade was in existence and go on the journey of the young girl Deniah as she tells you her story.

"What is it about you, Kira?" Oliver asked, more to himself than me, in a whisper. I could hardly breathe with him being so close and my heart was pounding almost painfully hard. "I don't know what you mean." I answered in an out of breathe manner, though I believed he was feeling the same as me. I wished I didn't have these crazy attraction and affectionate feelings for him, but I did; there was no controlling them, so I supposed I was just in for a long ride, one that would certainly lead to heartbreak. Oliver is the leader of the vampires of the Ibitario Clan. He's powerful and gorgeous, but more importantly, he's cruel and heartless. I really want to say that I cried because of how he humiliated me in front of the king. But no, I knew the truth. I liked him and somewhere deep down, I thought that there was a tiny chance he liked me too. That he was making me do all these things to keep me busy so, that he did not see me all the time because I was a distraction? I don't know really, but some part of me wanted to believe that there was a chance, even if it was small. But with what happened today, I knew that, that was a lie. He hated my guts. *please I wrote this story at 16/17. I'm 28 and I crying because I would rewrite this in a heartbeat especially coz I sound crazy* so read with caution* I fell in love. Most especially, it's a fairytale that understand the importance of love: A true prince may not come in shape of perfection but regardless of the imperfections and flaws, he would still remain perfect in your eyes.
