Sakshma is no stranger to rejection. At 29, she's been through countless dates, only to be turned away because of her complexion. Pressured by her family to settle down, she makes a daring proposal to the last person she expected-her younger boss, Aryan.

But what starts as a contract marriage to keep her parents happy quickly turns complicated. Aryan has his own reasons for saying yes, and somewhere in their shared past lies a dark secret that neither of them is prepared to face.
