They made Mirage as a prototype, before making V1. V came after, and then V2 was made after New Peace. V and Mirage were shut off for a majority of the war and New Peace, Mirage because she was just a prototype, and V because he refused to harm anyone, or anything. And, when they power on through a random, mysterious blood source, they travel to Hell together to try and find V1 and V2, their brothers.
