A Reckoning of Shadows

A shadow falls upon Hogwarts' halls,
Dark clouds swirl, as darkness calls.
A chill spreads thick through stone and stair,
Yet courage blooms, fierce and rare.
In robes of black, with eyes so bright,
A dark-haired girl steps into the fight.
Beside her friends she steels her stance,
And in their eyes, defiance plants.

From Gryffindor's bold, unyielding fire,
To Slytherin's cunning, razor-wire.
Hufflepuff's hearts stand strong and true,
And Ravenclaw's wisdom shines anew.
An unlikely ally joins their band,
With wand and heart they make their stand.
Against the dark, they rise as one,
And fight till dawn's light breaks the sun.
