"Rift of Ruin" summary/plot
Frilu has to work together with a girl named Elysia to fix an outbreak of portals in their world, Akaria. These portals are ruining Akaria, killing creatures of Akaria and bringing plagues that kill Frilu's species. Frilu struggles working with Elysia, the half elf an extremely hard girl to work with. Elysia only helps Frilu to prove to her abusive father that she is worth something, but eventually genuinely enjoys being around Frilu, honestly wanting to help heal his species. They bond over the entire time, building a friendship that no one would have expected.
