This story starts just over 500 years before the Journey To The West (JTTW), and it has a new character called Kai, who is a mystic monkey with white fur and black eyes with red pupils. Kai came to be in a different way than Sun Wukong and The Six-Eared Macaque. In fact, he was made by both of them merging their powers, and if you imagine Wukong being the Sun and Macaque being the Moon, then you could say Kai is the Eclipse.
