18 year old Tyler suffers non-melancholic depression. His father drinks and his alcoholism causes violence. The boys best friend is a two year old Alsatian by the name of Oscar ( or Ozzie for short) who is not only the reason Tyler was kicked out of his unhappy home, but the reason he was brought into a cozy new one.

When Tyler meets Harper, a dyslexic girl new to the area, his world changes. This girl made him see everything differently, feel different.

This story of a strange romance between a boy and a girl with two different lives, two different emotions and two different diseases, will prove just how much greener the grass is on the other side~
