"What do you believe in, Midoriya?" He asked simply.
"What?"
The man sighed, "Call me superstitious, but I believe in things that most men don't. Those beliefs are ingrained in me, they dictate my actions and they've saved my life. My gut tells me man should never have entered this place, so I listen." He looked serious and yet unbothered all at once as he turned his face towards the sky, taking his cigarette to tap the ash off into the sea. "If you believe in anything at all, I'd get back on this damn boat kid."
Izuku was many things; Reckless? Certainly. A Coward? Never.
