The world started anew 802 years ago.  After unknown centuries of barbarism following The Fall of the old civilization, the first Towers rose from the ground in the ruins of ancient cities like Chicago and Phoenix.  
With the rise of the Towers came a measure of control over the Entropy that covered the lands.  Where, before, this chaotic energy prevented any technology more complicated than a bow and arrow from functioning, suddenly the Order Fields of the Towers allowed cities to banish Entropy to varying degrees; allowing steam engines and muskets, or with higher Order, even assault rifles and electricity to be returned to the hands of humanity.
With the rise of the Towers came something more than control of Order and Entropy.  With the rise of the Towers came THE GRIIDLORDS.  Each city was granted 5 Griidsuits, making superheroes of their wearers, individuals with remarkable powers, each the match of a 1000 fighting men.

Tiberius has been pushed to compete for the Sword of Boston by his father.  His father has amassed a great fortune as a merchant, he could buy and sell the castles and lands of the lords of the city, but there is one thing his money can't buy: nobility.  
Tiberius has been trained and honed to compete for the Griidsuit.  Winning the suit comes with the founding of a new noble house that would satisfy his father's grandest ambitions.  Tiberius must compete against the sons and daughters of noble houses.  These youths that have been trained by the finest tutors.  These youths come from lines of Griidlords themselves, they see the suit as their birthright.  These youths come from a class that disdains the very notion of a commoner competing for the suit, no matter his wealth.
Tiberius must navigate his own doubts, his own inadequacy, and see if he can grow enough in the precious days of the Choosing to become worthy of becoming The Sword of Boston.All Rights Reserved

A story with careful planning, time manipulation, giant mechs, huge monsters, floating islands, tanks, cozy relationships, shadow organizations, mind control, and emotional strife alike. It takes all that to save the world, you know. Because otherwise, in two years, it'll all burn. Aemric was given that prophecy and two abilities: to see what will happen in the next few hours, and full bodily control over a few other people. It's a lot of responsibility for someone who hasn't even gotten the chance to graduate from college, but he *has* to make it work. Everything depends on that, even as morally-grey as his methods will have to be... Expect a lot of focus on the specifics: preparing a peaceful world for a war it could never see coming is no easy feat, especially when everyone thinks you're a jumped-up fortune teller using magic to invade peoples' minds. Countless little decisions can build up to much greater results... - Note: this story will take a long while to get to all those tags! We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. When the world lies in shambles as a war draws closer and closer, when humanity must grasp for every grain of wheat to survive just another day, when a self-proclaimed ruler and the spirit of freedom fighters collide. What lies behind blood-tainted hands that lust for revenge? Hope for a bright future or fatalistic darkness that tries to wreathe people's hearts in eternal agony? A ruler sets laws into stone, promising the perfect life in exchange for everlasting loyalty. Those who dare to rise against the rules set by what is Almighty will face severe consequences. Not only do people live in constant fear, but they are also segregated and left to their own demise. The separated inhabitants only exist for the purpose of what is referred to as the "greater good." However, there lies an incredible power of determination within the hearts of those living in one certain nation. This nation is referred to as "Stargazer." With their rebellious hearts, they try to get back what they have lost. Logan, one of the strong-willed members of "Stargazer," wants to sacrifice his own goals for the benefit of the others and willingly accepts every order of his captain, even when those turn against his own morals. Overthrowing the cause of it all-the man who rules them all. As a response to their revolutionary spirit, the man declares war upon them by utilizing cruel mechanized war machines. To his disbelief, Stargazer created their own mechs-the Horizon. The nations' destiny, the one that leads them to victory, back to the world they originally belong to. And thus, the fight begins with the resilient and the brave on terms of destruction and eternal legacy.
