Parker has just died in a horrific accident alongside his boyfriend Eli. They both end up in The Overworld (Heaven) and everything is as beautiful as you'd imagine. The views, the scents, the people.

He's unaware that it's all about to be taken away from him.

Back on earth, with his second chance at life, all Parker wants is to go back to The Overworld, back to Eli. But instead, his uncle takes him to a very special boarding school: The Woodsvalley School. Located far into the woods and exclusive to very special students. The kind of students Parker merely thought to be myths belonging in fairytales and fantasy novels.

But of course, he couldn't care any less. All he wants is to go back. He's not supposed to be alive, after all. But perhaps his interests will change when he meets Owen, the vampire and "the most special student of them all" according to the teachers...?
