Link believes he could get away with anything. He's spent his entire life fending for himself and distracts himself with crime. He'd do anything to escape. While on suspension from school, he distracts himself with substance abuse. In the meantime, he meets Zelda. Radiant, colourful, healthy, happy; everything he's been missing. And as his addiction grows, she represents his escape into a world of his own making, a world where he doesn't face struggle each day. She has no idea about the depths of his illness, and won't until it's far too late.
