The scar over his right eye ached, every time he saw those happy faces, all smiling and oh so warm, he could feel the phantom pain from the knife almost carving his eye out. Every time his scar ached or whenever he sees it, it reminded him of how he was tossed aside like an old toy, it reminded him how his own 'mother' would sometimes forget about him in favor of his younger sister, it reminded him how his supposed 'father' would give all his attention to his daughter and would forget that he even had a son. He wasn't jealous, of coarse not, because of what they did it made him what he is today, and without them neglecting him, he would have never found his new family, a family that accepted him, a family that adored and cherished him, his new family had never failed to show him how he is greatly loved by them.
