Echoes in the Dark

Having the property handed over to her in a distant bequest, Lily deems this the best opportunity to reconnect with her friends: Priya, Sam, and James. With ready hearts to be thrilled, they decide to go on a trip outside the city and plan on having fun at the abandoned estate of the mansion, only to realize how well it is preserved-rooms, walls, whispering echoes, eccentric illusions, and crooked hallways. Initially, it was haphazard dining, but slowly, suspicion managed to sneak into the friends' minds, and a discomfort of terror overtook that prevailing confidence and abated the thing. Despite their biology, pages start conjuring demons in the eyes of the four guests in the dark. But the problem multiplied with every ticking clock is understandable; the four of them are not the only people within the vicinity; something inside the building is aware of their presence more than them - too much more, and that particular something also thrives on the fear of the four inhabitants.

As the source of the Hawthorne family's downfall is slowly exposed, it becomes clear that there is only one means of escape, which will likely involve a sort of ritual. However, not in a house whose very walls betray the truth and where fear overcomes the deepest reserves of trust will they find it an easy feat. The members have to decide which of them will bear the full brunt of the effort needed to eradicate the Shadows of Hawthorne House.
