A small village falls into turmoil after garnering the attention of a deceitful monster.
Inspired by cultures described in Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.
This story originally started as a fun project for English class, but I got invested in the idea I had started and had to complete the story. Everything that happens within the story has a reason, and I was heavily inspired by stories included in the Old Testament of the Bible, while the Bible is not at all necessary for the complete understanding of this story, knowledge of spiritual affairs does play a key part in understanding the meaning behind the events in the story.
