It's All In The Code

Disclaimers: some parts of Turbo's canon story will be altered in order to better accommodate this fanfic, which is designed to cover his character arc much more extensively than the actual movie. Also, the cover art is not mine, and I will be, as of now, suspending work on this project, so do keep in mind that it's incomplete.

Please note, the events of the fanfic may not line up with the actual timeline of the movie (in terms of what year they took place, but the order of events will be the same) so just bear with me, there are creative liberties that must be taken. Essentially, this fanfiction talks about what Turbo was up to from just before Roadblasters was installed, to the time he decided to take over Sugar Rush.

This is the tale of a beloved racer who had all the prestige he could ever want, yet a pinch of jealousy was all it took to corrupt his code into something unrecognizable. Obsessed with making his mark, he took down two games singlehandedly, nearly ruining the entire Arcade. 5 years later, his voracious appetite for fame sought to usurp Sugar Rush. Disguised as the charming King Candy, he eagerly embraced his new role, carefully removing every last trace of his true identity, now little more than a ghost story whispered among characters.

While he hid his exploits well, his past could not stay buried forever, for there is no hiding from the evil that lies within. But what better place is there for that seed to start sprouting, then from the ground up?
