Shashank, a struggling romance writer, needs a new story and he hardly expects it to walk in the front door. Yet, that's exactly how Junkiri arrives. She's his new flatmate, and she just so happens to be an old crush.

Shashank Ghimire, a Nepali-Australian romance writer, known for his swoon-worthy novels, is at a loss for words-literally. His long-term girlfriend dumped him just as his next deadline loomed. With his home and heart now empty, reminders of his past are everywhere and the blank pages refuse to spring to life.

Just as he hits rock bottom, his darling but meddlesome mother ambushes him with her latest matchmaking scheme: a flatmate named Junkiri, who happens to be an old crush of his. She left her home in Nepal, eager to start fresh and mend her own broken heart. And she's not interested in romance-not with him. Not that it stops him from finding a new story plot in the most unexpected of places-his own home, now hosting a guest.

As Shashank adjusts to sharing his life, sparks fly amidst creative block and not-so-creative dates-gone-wrong. With each stolen glance and awkward moments, not to mention helping her make her ex jealous, he realises his new story is mirroring life. Can he rewrite the new love story in time, or will his past wounds and insecurities have him jeopardising his 'happily ever after' on both fronts?
