Project: Sonic and Shadow

50 years ago, there were two hedgehogs - Sonic the Hedgehog, and Shadow the Hedgehog. One was optimistic, fun, and a joy to be around. The other was more dark, distant, and quiet. What if I told you that they were built by a literal computer? That's right! A computer!

Shadow the Hedgehog. He's the ultimate life-form. He's slightly grumpy and easily irritated. He was built to protect Maria, his creator Gerald's granddaughter. They were close friends, although he's not so close to her cousin Ivo. He's black with red stripes on his spine, and he can do teleportation, chaos spear, and chaos blast. He is also related to the villainous Black Doom, who was double crossed by Gerald. He has alien blood inside of him.

Sonic the Hedgehog. He's the ultimate life-form's bodyguard. He's optimistic and positive, and not so easily irritated. He was built to protect Shadow, and to protect Maria if something ever happened to Shadow. Sonic is not really that close with either Maria or Ivo, or Shadow for that matter, and is more close to Gerald, seeing him as a father. He's not really related to any entity, besides having chaos energy that's related to Chaos himself, and the Chaos Emeralds.

But as the 50 years passed, the two went into a slumber, only to wake up in different places. They reunite, only to discover what happened that caused them to go asleep. They figure out Maria has been shot and killed by G.U.N, and that Ivo has lost his mind, now being called Dr. Robotnik or Eggman. This causes Shadow to go on a rampage, with Sonic being his only coping mechanism.

But now Sonic and Shadow have new friends. Tails, Amy, Knuckles, and later, Rouge. But when Sonic befriends a kid named Chris, his and Shadow's friendship changes forever, and they suddenly figure out they have feelings for each other!
