I, Elmar, have travelled a lot. Since I was banned from my kingdom, I have seen many things and have lived many lives. Eventually, every dimension perishes and I have seen it happen many times. In this book I will tell you some of the most incredible and horrific things I have experienced in my life.

this bundle of stories is a non- related prequel to Defenders of Destiny. Because I had so much fun creating Elmar and his background, I thought it would be fun to give him an extra introduction. Short Story 4 Lily lived a happy but simple life in her village, despite the war against the magical beasts of world still raging. When the war finally reaches the village, she expected her life to end with her family. She never expected a man to appear and offer her a deal. Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system. Any feedback is welcomed. Of course, let me know if you want more stories.

These stories are all based in the universe of "Pearls of the Mother," the same universe from which the "Duncan and Lilly" stories live. I created these as part of my "World Building and Backstory" system, and I've come to love them just as much as the books. I hope you will, too. Every time a question came up while writing one story, I wrote another story to answer the question. I guess it really is true ...
