Bailey Dunn, who is about to be a senior at Northview High School, is finally working at Lake Forest Day Summer Camp with her older brother Mack. Her "older sister" Caroline Davis, who she has danced with her whole life, also works at Camp Lake Forest. She meets Reese Mason, who is about to be a senior at her rival school, Southview High School. She also discovers her on-and-off longest crush, Sam Carson, works at Camp Lake Forest.
