A project operated by the leaders of that time , "Haven Initiative" was given to duty to protect the civilians and so on.

However, the android had been discovered by a smooth-talking mercenary that still found use for the combat androids' capabilities and given him the new name of Axis. The two go on to become the most feared hitmen in the underground, going by the name "Machina Mortis".
