La jeune semi-dryade Lua ne cessait de scruter l'horizon au bout de la vaste plaine qui s'étendait par-delà l'orée du bois du village caché d'Auranthia. La brise fraîche du matin murmurait à son oreille depuis quelques jours.
Deux ans après son départ, Myrdhin revenait enfin de son périple à travers le pays en compagnie de sa famille. Son meilleur ami semi-félin était sur le chemin du retour, le son de sa voix lui parvenait.
Ce soir, pendant la célébration du retour de l'automne, ils fêteraient tous les deux leur passage à l'âge adulte.
Le vent ne mentait jamais lorsqu'il apportait des nouvelles.
