«Faded Scars» {Shapeshifter Story}

My name: Zia Ryles.
I was born a normal kid as most kids were. Except for one thing; My parents abused me.
This caused me to become blind in my left eye. They kept me home, and basically left my brain to rot with no education what so ever.
Well, my parents ended up dying in a car accident when I was 15; two days before my 16th birthday. Instead of being sent to an Orphanage, I was sent to a lab.
There, I was given the DNA of an Arctic Fox, causing me to become a Shapeshifter. I was then automatically sent to Shapeshifter School.
I expected it to turn out to be a normal school, but I was bullied by larger predator Shapeshifters, even some prey shapeshifters.
Then, I met Drifter, a Hyena Shapeshifter. He bullied me. Broke me. Yet he changed my whole life.
