Jade never wanted to the job but they gave her no choice. It was hard for a woman to find a job in the kingdom. Ever since the wars tensions with other countries had been high. With Jade's skill in fighting and her intelligence what better job than than for her to be an assassin. As she goes about her new life she gets tangled in a web power, lies, and politics. The only way to survive in this kingdom is to have the upper hand, and with the king's high commander keeping a close eye on her its hard to get the job done.
