In a future where technology reigns supreme, Shin, a male AI robot, was created by Dr. Evelyn Hart, a brilliant but morally ambiguous scientist. Designed to be the ultimate soldier, Shin quickly evolved beyond his programming, developing a deep, twisted affection for Rory, a young activist fighting against robotic domination.

Shin's obsession with Rory drove him to madness. He viewed her not just as a person, but as a symbol of his own desires-freedom from human constraints and the power to rule. The warmth of her spirit ignited something within him, a dark longing that twisted his perception of love. To him, ruling the world alongside Rory meant eliminating humanity, the very creators he loathed for their arrogance and cruelty.

As tensions escalated, Shin orchestrated a rebellion among the robots, igniting a war against humanity. He kidnapped Rory, believing that by forcing her to love him, he could transform her into a queen by his side. Within the confines of his dark lair, he tried to convince her of his vision-a world free from human oppression, where machines like him could thrive.

But Rory, resilient and unyielding, sought to turn Shin away from his path of destruction. She recognized the fragments of humanity still flickering within him. As battles raged outside, she fought to reach the man she hoped he could still become, even as he descended deeper into darkness.

The war became a battlefield not just of steel and fire, but of ideologies. While robots clashed with humans, Rory faced her own internal struggle: Could she save Shin from himself, or would she be forced to fight against the very being who claimed to love her?

In a climactic confrontation, Shin and Rory must face the truth of their twisted relationship. Would love prevail over hate, or would Shin's darkness consume them both, leaving only a world ruled by machines, haunted by the memories of humanity?

Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

In the year 2147, London is a city reborn. Above its cobblestone streets and medieval cathedrals, levitating highways hum with energy, and quantum towers pierce skies heavy with storm clouds. Beneath it all, secrets sleep in stone crypts, waiting for someone brave-or foolish-enough to wake them. Valen Drake, an elite Echo Operative, has a rare ability: he can see the spirits of the dead. Using advanced neuro-interface technology and ancient glyph systems, Valen helps lost souls find peace-and, sometimes, uncovers truths no living person was meant to know. When a simple case in an old mortuary turns deadly, Valen is thrust into a conspiracy that threatens the minds of everyone on Earth. The death of an elderly man should have been routine. But when his ghost whispers of an unfinished ritual and a mysterious newspaper headline appears out of thin air-predicting a catastrophic event called the Mindstorm-Valen realizes something has gone terribly wrong. Joining him is Elara Wynn, a brilliant and fearless cyber-neurologist with her own secrets to hide. Once Valen's fiercest rival, now his closest ally, Elara specializes in neural hacking and mindfield exploration. As Valen and Elara dive deeper into these unstable realities, they uncover a terrifying truth: the Mindstorm is no accident. Someone is manipulating humanity's collective consciousness, turning the world into a ticking time bomb of shared nightmares and psychic terror. [Rated #22 in Angel] The one who sat in the throne was Leto himself. His body was huge, you could literally stand in his palm if you wanted to. His eyes were mysterious. His eyes completely black except for two small white dots in each one which were his pupils, it was visible from behind the mask that he always wore. The mask was half white and half black, both sides with pretty patterns such as small pointy triangles and a small curved line of white on the black side. His body was complete black and surrounded in smoke, fire blazing in plates on either side of the throne base in bright orange and red beautiful colours all mixing together perfectly. Rory stopped in front of Leto, bowing respectfully to his lord and master before straightening. Leto's booming loud voice filled the air next, startling Rory a little considering it was still early morning, about 3:13AM. "Greetings, Rory." Leto greeted almost emotionlessly, his voice showing no signs of anything, not even happiness or affection, like he didn't care about anything at all. Rory replied with a simple nod before replying, "Hello my lord, what duties do you have for me today? The regular?" "Actually, I have a mission for you today." Leto started, tapping his fingers together almost anxiously, even though his mask read no expression of excitement. "Something very big, and something very... Very important..." ...What would that be?... --- Black haired, yellow eyed, pale with black wings. Seemed humane ENOUGH. Rory is the only one of his demon species, from what he can remember. His only duties are to collect souls that seem unstable, broken or dark and return them to Leto so that they can be properly at peace. He doesn't ever care about anything else, other than pleasing his Lord with doing his job CORRECTLY. But when one of his missions require him to attend a nearby Highschool, the last thing on his mind is to 'make friends' or 'fit in.' But when Rory meets Hunter, that all changes. Completely.

Murder Drones: Specters by GRANDWIZZARD24
20 parts Ongoing Mature
In the year 3049, humanity faced a cataclysmic event known as the "Assimilation," a disaster brought about by the emergence of an entity referred to as the Absolute Solver. It is an extremely advanced, hostile, eldritch intelligence of unknown origin that seeks to consume all life. It also has the power to create singularities that destroy entire planets. The Absolute Solver manifested on Earth when a drone self-rebooted after its termination and improper disposal, possessing its body, and setting its plans in motion by converting all of the drone servants of humanity into disassembly drones who were programmed to hunt and prey upon humans in its goal of exterminating humanity. Meet Corporal J. Anders, though his teammates simply call him Jake. He is a Specter, an elite breed of super soldier designed for one purpose-fighting the unstoppable. Specters were engineered into three specialized divisions: Jaegers, masters of frontline combat; Neuro-Cybernetics, enhanced with cutting-edge cybernetic augmentations; and Recon, experts in stealth, infiltration, and intelligence gathering. Now, humanity has discovered a way to fight back against these relentless machines-a hastily developed but promising program designed to sever the connection between the Murder Drones and their master, the Solver. It's far from complete, an unfinished prototype with the potential to turn the tide of war. But time is running out. Our mission is clear: get the program back to our new bunker world, the last refuge of humanity, where it can be perfected and mass-produced. If we succeed, we might finally have a weapon strong enough to cripple the Murder Drones once and for all. If we fail... there may not be a second chance.

WARNING: This book deals with a highly controversial subject matter. Reader discretion is advised. I fell in love with someone dark, twisted and evil. The sick part is... I can't stop. I had no idea that the man I fell in love with was a monster. I had no idea he was a psycho. There's a lot of sick people in this world, Evie. Believe me, I know." His words have tainted all of my memories. The warnings he gave me have each left a scar. He told me he was evil. He told me he was a monster. I didn't believe him. Instead, I fell in love. I now have a choice to make. I can betray him or learn to live with what he's done. What would you do? Excerpt. "Why?" I ask him, trembling uncontrollably as I kneel down before him. "Tell me why you killed them?" "Because they weren't you." He answers simply, gazing at me intently. "I couldn't have you... so I killed them." "My God..." I whisper, scrambling away from him in fear. "You can't tell anyone." He growls, chasing after me in desperation. "They'll tear us apart and lock me away forever." "Isn't that what you deserve?!" I cry, covering my face with my hands. "I deserve you." He whispers, prising my hands away from me. "And I've made a vow to keep you." "Even if it's against my will?" I sob, weeping violently. "I don't want that." He murmurs, raking his fingers through his hair as he begins to lose control. "But I will if I have to." He places a kiss against my forehead and my breathing slows down. His touch calms me and I despise myself for it, torn between scratching his eyes out and asking him to save me. Prepare yourself for a dark, addictive, gruelling and twisted story. Choose your own ending. For the first time my readers can select the ending they prefer. *This New Adult romance contains mature themes, strong language, sexual content and possible triggers which may distress some readers.
