Elise is a girl on the run. At fifteen, she's the property of a large breeding corporation known as GeneTech. They specialize in sustaining the dwindling human population through mass impregnation of the few women left on Earth. Many women are owned exclusively by GeneTech and there remains very few who have actual freedom outside of a facility. Elise escapes one day to find a better hope at freedom for herself and future generations of women, and ends up uncovering the sinister reason behind the world's deficit in human beings. Will she ever find freedom, or will GeneTech catch up with her and force her into a life of slavery, on the premise that she is "saving humanity"? What is GeneTech really doing with the women they own, and what caused the mass endangerment of the entire human species anyway?
