When Yeonjun, a famous singer with chart-topping hits and a string of world tours, decided to try a dating app, he knew it was a bit unconventional. The idea of using his real identity on a dating platform was risky, but after countless lonely hotel rooms and failed relationships with people who saw only the celebrity, he craved a genuine connection.

So, on a whim, he set up a profile with his actual photos and name, hoping people would take him at face value.

Beomgyu had seen plenty of profiles on the app that looked too good to be true. He'd spent more than his share of dates dealing with people who didn't quite look like their photos or exaggerated their lives.
